OP, assuming that new hires are coming in as A1, there is no way anyone with more experience could be lower than they are coming in at. Right?
All current employees will be put in A1 minimum. If you're a 1st year associate and you don't suck you'll at least get a2 and maybe a3.
Well don't they have to thanks to the cohort system? God PwC is so dumb
@OP, listen to PwC1... The cohort system solves your exact question. Unless you're getting demoted for some reason 🤔
@pwc4 I would say yes
Associates are getting offered 70-75?
I'd be interested to find out. I know a lot of first year S& associates are very annoyed, and already applying to other jobs
There will be a bump, heard from partners who are in the know. They were thinking low 80s
If you came on as an experienced associate (title will no longer exist) with a master's degree do y'all suspect we will be placed at the A3 level?
.
You'll make at least over 70k
Is there a big discrepancy between public and private sector associates ?
PwC1 -- I have heard from managers that given the current state of the firm, it is unlikely we shall get a raise big enough to earn more than new hires
@S&1, my understanding is that our A1s make 75. Also, they get automatic bump to A2 after CRT, not sure I understand why they are annoyed. What has always happened is that after market adjustments, cohorts 2 made same money as cohorts 1 but that gets fixed quickly after one CRT.
I came in last year and I made 73 with signing bonus what will I get this year given im at level
