In the country I live $ 24k annualy is a very good amount because of the currency. When I apply for remote work from anywhere jobs I write $ 24k annually as an expected salary. Is there a chance they think it is too low and that's why they don’t turn back to me? Because it would be like super low for my skills and experience if I was living somewhere else. What do you think? Am I sabotaging myself or is it ok to write the range where you live?

Are you applying to legal jobs in those countries? If so do you have the appropriate legal credentialing/ licensing for those countries & roles? Is it an in house position? Without knowing the roles you're scoping out and qualifications, it's hard to say what you should target.

My advice: if you do meet the local requirements, research the avg regional salary for those positions and request pay that is locally competitive. You never know if you may be put in the position to relocate, but you've shot yourself in the foot by lowballing yourself

Thank you very much for your encouraging words. I’ll follow your advice. Probably I cause them to question my skills with writing 24k.

I do get commission but it’s very low ($10k give or take for the year). I work 6/7 days a week sometimes 10+ hrs/day. I’ve been researching salaries to be able to negotiate higher pay. Hello all. My company just went through an acquisition and the company did some restructuring of job titles. When they did this we were all advised the company would be making sure our jobs pay aligned with the national average.
My issue with this is my job title went from a Technical Support Supervisor to a Customer Success Team Lead. I have voiced my concerns with management but have been advised job titles are semantics. In my eyes this is a demotion, and will affect how much my job is worth.

Help. I’m struggling to find a job that’s $120k and up. I keep getting recruiters reach out on LinkedIn but for half of the salary. Im in the oil and gas, currently working for Philips 66.

Any idea on maybe what positions I should be looking for within this range?

I have 15 years of supply chain experience, transportation and freight forwarding. I also have an MBA. Would like a hybrid, or remote but open to anything.

Should I Go Back and Reneg? Recently I was offered a role as a Project Implementation Manager (In Retirement Services) .The salary range for Colorado residents was 65-89K. I’m located in NY so the recruiter said he would try to get me more. Ultimately he came back at 90K which is a bit inline with that I was seeing on Glassdoor but approx looks like I may leave 10-12K on the table. I accepted already but may get an offer from another HR company in account management around 90-100K. Need advice

They need me at my job, but I’m being way under paid. I’ve asked twice for a pay increase. (With a no a a response) I want to put in my two weeks notice to see if they would consider giving me a pay increase.. but I don’t have a back up plan right now to do so. Any suggestions. It hard for them to find employees and the turn over rate is to the rooftop! I would be hard to replace at a short notice now that they are hiring like four new physicians and providers

Has anyone who's worked in HR, Finance, or another role with visibility to compensation information been able to use that as leverage for salary negotiations?

To put it bluntly, I know certain people with less experience and a lower performance rating are getting paid more than me due to my role working with payroll data. I suspect this was due to the fact that I did not counter offer when I accepted this role, which was a few months ago, and now I regret it.
