ChatGPT may or may not change the real industry. AI, on the other hand, will replace all manual jobs that don’t require that much thinking. Robots will build homes, architects will use AI to draw floorplans, engineers will use AI to make calculations faster, and real estate agents will use AI to streamline the buying and selling process from weeks to days, or hours. Everything that before took days, will now take hours.
ChatGPT will assist real estate professionals in conducting market research and analyzing trends by processing vast amounts of data and providing insights. It can already identify patterns, predict market fluctuations, and support decision-making in areas such as pricing, investment opportunities, and property valuation. Ability to highly customize customer experiences, and set realistic data backed expectations. Overall, like in all things, Ai will streamline processes, manage schedules, improve customer experiences, and enable data-driven decision-making.
However, I also think All RE apps will have even more Ai tools for buyers and sellers. I expect it will be much easier for sellers to cut the agent out all together as my flat fee $99 FSBO Ai Agent will instantly be able to pull comps, make marketing campaigns, take my photos and edit them into all manner of marketing materials, spot macro and micro trends, create pricing strategies, schedule appointments, and complete all contracts, manage dates, and explain all clauses in contracts and suggest negotiation strategies. The robots can equitably negotiate the deal and send me a text summary when they have it hashed out. Human agent s will be specialists in some area of RE and do more complex RE deals.
My Ai Agent will be instantly responsive and manage the process without a profit motivated agenda. If i don’t need an agents “expertise”, who most of the time will make human mistakes that screw up the deal, why would i pay 5-7% of my profits?
Soon it will be able to build houses. 😉
I think buyers/sellers that utilize ChatGPT will be more data driven and have much more information available that you use to depend on a realtor knowing.
I’m just thinking how if I were a buyer or seller I could have ChatGPT build me a data chart on area comps in 2 seconds that I could take to a realtor.
Also from a realtor prospective the writing prompts for houses and emails, social can all go to automation. They can also start pulling data and statistics that should help them better find their target markets.
