Are corporate finance or pricing dead end ops?
“Reflecting on and adopting the use of micro-affirmations would be a positive strategy to prevent microaggressions. Micro-affirmations are small acts that foster inclusion, listening, comfort and support for people who may feel isolated or invisible in their environment. Focus on action, not avoidance – create new good behaviours.”

I don’t know if compatibility is the right word. I think it’s ownership of being part of a team, realizing that other people rely on you doing your part for everyone to succeed. I have worked with people who are okay leaving promptly at the end of every day without finishing their work. They lack commitment and are undependable. You can’t trust them to meet any deadline; team players always have to pick up their slack and it’s demoralizing to have this personality on a team. The worst is when they think that their opinions and ideas should have their same weight as others on the team. They want agency but don’t know how to earn it.
Being compatible is close to what I see as most important, which is a collection of complementary talents. Having a group of people, all good at what they do, pulling in the same direction, that's a real team. It's like in baseball, you can't field a team of all shortstops, you need to have a variety of skills represented.
Yep I have to go with that as well. I have worked on too many teams where the people and personalities were not at all compatible and nobody functioned as a team and it drove me nuts. Thankfull now I am on a team where everyone is very compatible and we all get along really well together and really work as a team.

See I’m torn about this one. I am all about a proper work/life balance, so I'm okay with the part about leaving promptly when the work day ends, but yeah if you don't put in the proper amount of work as others then your opinion shouldn't have as much weight when it comes to projects and decisions etc.
