I looked this up some time ago to see what I wanted to plant. I would try google but milkweed was one. Be careful though if you’re planting at your house bc they can also attract bees and bees sometimes move in.

Thanks for the heads up I was googling local milkweed seeds but didn't know about the bees

It's going to vary based on where you live, but generally, anything with non-white blossoms that are flat typed or clustered with short flower tubes. Lavender and coneflower are known for attracting butterflies.

My honeysuckle has been good for attracting them. Also super easy/cheap.

Pretty too thank you for recommendation

My monstera has a love/hate relationship with me. She seemed to be doing good and was growing three new leaves and as soon as they opened two started getting dark spots. Has anyone had this issue before? I recently moved it afraid that she was getting too much sunlight.

What house plants are NOT toxic to cats? I swear every time I go to buy a new plant and look it up it says “toxic to pets”. I have a dumb cane which I know is toxic but didn’t realize when I bought it so now I just keep it in the laundry room away from my cat when I’m at work but that means no daytime sunlight. Would like suggestions on which plants I can buy that are safe to leave alone with my cat 😸

Happy reminder, depending on where you live it’s almost that time of the year to fertilize your indoor plants and prune them
