Income partner here at a mid sized firm. Anyone else been stuck at IP for longer than you'd like? My firm has very little clarity around what it takes to level up to equity partner besides showing "sustainable sales"... on top of that certain individuals have been promoted directly into equity partner from SM without nearly the sales record I have, because they will be signing public company audits. Partially a vent here, but any advice ot experience on dealing with similar disparity?

I was recently told that I wasn’t being promoted to AD. Now that I have quit, they are offering me an AD title if I stay. Why would they do that? I’m only good enough to be an AD now that I’m leaving?
