Gen Z is all about "quiet quitting". Maybe you got "quiet promoted".
Meaning more responsibilities and same pay 🫠
Tfw those recruiters with $90k talks sound promising and you just got your CPA. But the place I just spoke to sounds even messier😞
Have you asked your employer?
A promotion with no raise or discussion? Also 25 is normal to become a senior level accountant
I'm guessing it's bc I had two audits and all the tax compliance BS dumped into my lap. And got my CPA. But idk, for $70k?
Usually when bosses do that its because their hiding something and if they get caught they may need a scapegoat… like a young stressed out 25 yr old who in that position with so much responsibility is surely to make a few smaller mistakes first nothing big but when he gets caught embezzling then your tiny lil post it notes somehow show up in court with a 7 min video of you riding a local mechanical bull at a bar because you snapped and now they got you looking cray …. Oooooo i could just overthink too much
I have seen IT updated the title before the actual promotion, then the promotion announcement came after. You should ask your employer
Yeah maybe. My title in the system changed a few days before the team announcement.
