Mike Myers’ make up 😳
Hoping to get in touch with #Peraton recruiter! I have about 9 months left in Air Force where I work in cyber defense and vulnerability management, have a BA in cybersecurity, sitting for CISSP and have lots of certs. Would love to chat with someone about opportunities. Hold a clearance and could technically start in 7 months. Any help is appreciated!! Thank you.

Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

8% is really good! The most I've gotten is a little over 5%. Which I thought was actually pretty good, lol.
Congrats, 8% isn't bad in today's world. I had a good negotiation when I was securing my present position, I made a counteroffer to the offer and got most of what I wanted, which amounted to about 10%. Since then, the raises have been pretty stingy, in the low single digits, which seems to be the standard these days.
I grabbed a 50% several years ago and just recently got a 24%.
I was really underpaid a few years back, and now am paid adequately to fairly well depending on how you look at it.
Sometimes you just need to ask. I’d have a reason in the back pocket - and make it about your own work not someone else
Not bad most I got was 10% but I was making really low

8% is great! I got 5% for one role and was happy with that plus additional perks
