Additional Posts in Risk Assurance
Hello - hope everyone is having a great weekend. I'm looking into risk assurance opportunities at Meta, especially Application Manager, Controls (min 5 YOE) and Manager, Compliance (min 12 YOE). I am a Senior Manager with 9 years of IT risks assurance experience. Does anyone have any thought on which position I should apply? If anyone currently at Meta could share your experience, that would also help. If anyone is open to providing referrals, I could provide my background. Facebook (Meta)

One thing to clarify at the start is which system actually controls the feed? A, B, or something in between? And is A pushing data to B or is B pulling from A?
Who has responsibility over the feed (cloud service provider vs on-prem personnel)?
Who has access to start and stop the feed.
What kind of logs exist over changes to the feed and data transfer failures? Involuntary system-based logging vs a manual log?
What is done when there is a failure in the feed? Does someone get automatically notified? Or is it someone's job to check its status at intervals?
GT1 has lots of great points! I’d add, what is management’s controls to ensure completeness and/or accuracy of the feed. Is there systematic balancing that occurs or do they perform a manual reconciliation from point a to b that would cover that risk.
