Product Management at a large bank vs Business Analytics/S&O for FAANG? Recently started in the former role, but have interview calls for the latter just come up in my mailbox. Similar comp when adjusted for the different job locations. Can anyone help me with the Pros and Cons please. I know the roles are different, and so are the industries, need to understand difference career paths and difference in corporate cultures. JPMorgan Chase Google LinkedIn Citi

Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)

How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!
Can someone refer me to MS?
Thanks in advance🤗

My wife started as an M at Accenture earlier this year coming from industry. I’ve never worked at Accenture or any b4, but I had to explain to her how up or out works. She also didn’t know that she came in with 24 months at level and what that meant. Really surprised none of this was communicated during hiring or by her manager.

Tell them how good you are at making slides
Personal: empathy is key - a great case will not outweigh if you don’t connect on a personal level.
Case: structure! Don’t drill down too fast, make sure to have compelling structure/ framework first.
Presentation: answer all questions given in instructions. Ask what to focus on when running low on time.
Read: expect to do lots of calculations in one case, but not both/ all. Another case is likely aiming to challenge your business sense.
As far as business heavy: when making estimates/ educated guesses make sure to challenge yourself. When challenged by interviewer, take time to reflect, more likely than not you are way off.
Thanks S&1...since people are industry aligned from the beginning - is the case, also? Quant-heavy or more business heavy?
Pumped about this opportunity
People are not industry aligned right away and I don’t understand your question tbh. Expect one case to be heavy on calculus.
Calculus..? I just meant some firms are particularly quant heavy and others are more about creativity. Was trying to get a feel lol
