Interviewing for 4ish months now for a FED role. Always make it 2-3 rounds but never ending in an offer. I have a BFA in Web Design, but I wonder if it's worth returning to school for a Master's in Computer Science. I'm leery on bootcamps because they don't teach real world/practical use cases, at least the ones I've heard about. The firsthand(?) experience I have w/ a bootcamp grad, claims to be full stack but didn't know how to troubleshoot HTML/CSS, nor knew how to use Dev Tools/Inspector.

Interviewing for an SE position and have my final demo in a few weeks. Any trailhead modules I should check out to get more prepared/confident? Thank you in advance!

I submitted my documents and I am trying to contact the HR who scheduled my interview, but she is not picking up my call. My question is how soon can I expect the offer letter to be released? I’m a former forensic scientist that left the field several years ago. I recently received a subpoena from a case I worked and suggested to DA to have evidence re-worked by the lab or stipulation. If I am required to testify (as an expert witness), I would need to book a flight, hotel, etc. My question is this: can I ask for my requested hourly rate, travel, and hotel to be covered when speaking with DA or is that “not how this works” as the investigator put it?

Fellow introverts...can I only advance in my career if I take on a leadership role? The thought of this terrifies me.
