Hi guys, Now VMware is offering me a 35% percent hike of what I am earning at DellEmc. I just completed one year at DellEmc. Total 2.7YOE But I don't like to go out of Dell, due to some personal commitments I am planning to switch.
Is it a good time to switch?
Can I talk with my manager ?
Are they able to hike the salary of what VMware is offering? Please suggest me.

The attrition rate in Infosys for last 3 quarters roughly accounts to 75% (20+27+28). With nearly 3/4 of the company moving out in last 9 months, the Infy management have never seemed to have learnt a lesson from it.
Still no compensation revision given for employees who have been associated for long term (Say 4+ years)
Folks - Is there any compensation revision planned in the near future... considering the after effects of q1 fy23 attrition rise ?

Interviewing with Apple next week for the roles of Global Supply Manager (GSM) and Worldwide Procurement Analyst in Austin. Does anyone have any tips or advice for the interview? What kind of questions do they ask?
Also, what’s the compensation like in Austin specifically? I would think the compensation would be different than Cupertino. Anyone have any offers or salaries for these positions in Austin?

Hello fam. T&E is back online.
Partner Interview (6th interview).
Good or Bad?
My referral had interviews w/ (1)
recruiter, (1) SM, then the series of
(3) 1:1's w/(1) MD and (2) SM's.
The recruiter said he will now have
an interview in Jan. w/ the PPMD.
He interviewed for a M role in
consulting for customer marketing.
11 YOFE
He does have a wide skill set and the
recruiter said it was all positive
feedback, just have to find out
where to put him (on the team he
interviewed for or another he is
qualified for).Deloitte

190K is high for M1. As others noted, Deloitte does not differentiate based on location.
D5, I can tell you with certainty that we do not differentiate. Without getting into details, I am privy to this information. It’s possible that those colleagues might have negotiated more on a one on one basis, but holistically the ranges are the same nationwide.
Yea definitely not low - I know alot of SMs at DT not making that yet
15 years of consulting experience or just 15 years of general experience? Take it from me here what will happen, I have 18+ yoe overall but in multiple industries doing a variety of things. Currently an M in gps, should I have been an SM, yes, but now I’m “priced out” of most contracts, and my base isn’t that either. If you get this job, and for whatever reason don’t like the contract, you will 100% struggle to get onto another contract. You’ll be in the top 5% most expensive Ms, I’m already in that boat on the gps side so I’m telling you your future… I would say the clock begins on day 1 for your exit, and that will be within 36 mo.
If I had to do it again, I would gladly lower my base by some, but push heavily for the SM designation. The level is all that matters here. My 2 cents.
OP - basically, everyone has a "cost" per hour. This is made up of your salary, benefits, and other fringe/overhead. As a super highly paid manager, your cost per hour starts to be more than we can bill you out at (this is more of an issue in GPS than commercial since commercial does their accounting a bit differently). This is usually the case for SMs, and almost always for PMDs, so we have to make up the difference at lower levels. When we start losing on Ms, it gets even harder. On large projects it's a lot easier to make the math work. On smaller ones, not so much.
I’m assuming this is for a commercial position? GPS wouldn’t make an offer that high. If it is GPS, I’d jump on it!
190 for manager level is quite good especially because of the bonus range.
I have 15 yoe. Eventually talked my way to a 210 base since I should be an SM given my tenure and prior experience. I made my point and now ball is in their court
You have 15 years of prior consulting experience? I mean them yeah SM is probably a possibility.
I’d say pretty on target. Without knowing your experience, I assume the firm may be hesitant to shell out until you demonstrate ability to deliver at M level. Just my 2 cs.
I’d add, on target, if a little on the higher end.
Agree with above, this must be commercial? GPS advisory doesn’t reach this.
Oh I know M1s in commercial advisory that are way below that! The pays bands are way larger then what most people think, SCs even in GPS are making more, I’m not kidding.
Nicely done OP
Is this GPS or commercial?
Do you have advanced degrees?
Amazing OP!
Sounds about right. Your HCOL means zip on what is offered. Your choice to live in HCOL versus a normal COL area.
