I'm about to take a 5% cut to take a job in order to stop traveling and work normal hours. It's also something I'm far more interested in.
No one can answer that but you. Is it worth it to YOU???
What position are you at now in EY? PI? Congrats, I think it's worth it!
My post was to say that at the end of the day it is you who would have to work the job. There are trade offs. Is the opportunity that you are looking at better for you in the long run than where you currently are? Only you know the answer to that question. But, yes, congrats also!
The travel is tough on me as well, due to family obligations. And yes, PI
Take it and don't look back. You'll be better off in the long run
EY1- I'm worried about not growing. In house corporate strategy is great and all, but the longer I'm in consulting the better for my career in the long run no? I'm a rookie so would love advice on these kinds of things.
