Citi
Definitely Citi. Because they’re offering: a) more senior sounding SVP title; b) probably better remuneration and bonuses than EY; c) Probably better hours and better work life balance; d) you can jump into consulting after 2-3 years in banking
Citi sounds dope
Rising Star
1) EY Tech is hit or miss with the crowd. You might get yelled at with no actionable feedback and interesting projects
1a) you will grow in ways you didn’t imagine you could and learn soo much
1b) if you don’t have prior consulting, it’ll be a steep learning curve. buckle up, the hrly expectations are 50-65* weekly and could be more depending on who you report to, how crazy your client is, and what resources are on the project
2) Citi sounds cool, my now best friend joined EY when I did under a year ago and he had 9yrs from there. I’m glad I met him, I wouldn’t left if we didn’t have each other.
With that said, career trajectory will depend on what you make of your experiences and how spin it to the next person. No mater what, may the best outcome happen 💪🏽
Citi.
What’s comp like at the citi role? Only way I’d say EY is if comp is magnitudes different

What's your YOE?
Citi. When you work in an industry that invests heavily in tech for themselves and the general comp levels are higher, you get the best of both worlds.
