Is 1 hour enough time for a layover? Arrival at 9:10 am. Check in time for next flight is 9:10 am. Departure time is 10:10 am. AirFrance. This is for my mom, who is flying alone. We have requested for assistance. I have missed flights when layovers were less than 1 hour. So, kinda concerned and wondering if I should change the tickets.

Our connecting flight from JFK at 6:10 was cancelled while we were flying over the Atlantic Ocean, and we were rebooked on a 3:40 instead (2.5 hours earlier) but not notified.
