Seems pretty reasonable. I was recently promoted to manager, and my salary is 120k in MCOL.
Public accounting firm with a little over 10M in revenue.
Yeah, I think that seems very reasonable, but it depends on the firm, industry, and workload. If there’s a bonus, good benefits, and solid work-life balance, it’s a solid offer. If hours are crazy or there’s no room for quick raises, you might want to negotiate.
A few years ago I was hired in MCOL at M2 and the offer was $155K. I assumed M1 is around $135-140K
I am assuming this wouldn’t include bonuses. If so, then that seems okay.
What is the firm size? I was senior 3 LCOL and my salary was 113k before I left last year so first year manager at 115k is low.
