Also depends on how old the partner is. The payout has been falling for years, but still better than just about any other job. Now if you talk to a legacy PW partner its ungodly.
They are quite lucrative. But I varies from firm to firm. Some have old school pensions. Others have high 401k matches. And of course there are the buyouts at the end.
PwC has a pension. Talked to a retired NY partner who now works part time for PwC. He said the pension is pretty nice.
More than you will ever make
There are some partners here who may shed some light. I thought it is around 60% of the last few years' average. So if you figure 500k conservatively during the later years they would still make 300k for enjoying boredom or retirement.

You guys are a little high on your projections. More like 300000 assuming you have been a partner for 25 years. Most of that accrues after 50
I think at RSM partners have a mandatory retirement at a certain age and they get a pension for 10 years. Source: Partner told me.
