Square Veeva @teletracking
Trying to decide between 3 offers remote/Columbus
Square is 84k salary 5k bonus and 80k stocks vesting over 4 years
Veeva is 100k salary 20k bonus and 25k Stocks each year forever
Teletracking is 125k cash 5k bonus
I know about Square the most and if they paid closer to Veeva and Teletracking I’d probably go there but it seems like they underpay.
The Veeva culture seems really good but it’s a sustaining engineer position for year 1 so debugging

Did my MBA at 34. Classmates lacking experience was frustrating at times, but overall definitely a worthwhile experience for me. Long term comp likely to be significantly higher, excellent network. Many top schools give out large scholarships so short term cost might be significantly lower than you expect too
@SM1 - I think only 1 or 2 do need based scholarships (H/S). The rest are merit - which is based on your experience and GMAT score etc. schools seemed to genuinely want those with more experience as it adds value for classmates, and are willing to pay for it...
I’m in a similar boat - 34 year old male with a ms in engineering. I don’t think it’s too late for an executive mba, it’s a bit late for a traditional mba. The big question is whether the price and commitment of an mba at our age will get us anywhere. I’m toying with it more for the educational experience than an expectation of payout - I already know there are 1000 ways I could invest my time that would have a bigger payout at this age
SM1 and OP... started MBA full time at 34 with in ms engineering and 11+ yrs of experience in industry. My opinion? It has been one of the single best decisions I have made. My experience gave me an advantage among peers and played it off in all recruiting events. Learn a ton from all my classmates (old and young) and got ROI of 1.5 yrs. Also increased my salary by 70%. You are not too old and your experience is extremely valuable. Oh by the way, i was not the oldest one in my class. Not even close.
Go for an Executive MBA. Similar age group, can develop network and leverage professors to pivot.
Male here but started my MBA at 32 with 6 yrs if IT experience and a Masters in Comp. Sci. You do you.
I did my Executive MBA at 33, graduated at 35, 6 years ago. I think it was worth it.
Maybe an executive MBA makes sense, but it's hard to justify the ROI from a 2-year program the longer you're out of school.
^^ what about part-time ?
I was 46 and the avg age of my cohort was 44.
Cool - my friend just finished that (albeit she was 30)
If you already have 10+ years business experience in my opinion, an MBA won’t buy you much. I’d spend time getting a Masters in Data Science or something related to AI, ML etc
it's not late. but is it really worth it?
