Maybe if the job is entirely print based, otherwise definitely not. My preferred method is with a tablet, and always, always have everything downloaded.
A. I already saw your website, show me something new/exciting fit for the full screen medium - make relevant adaptations per interview
B. Do not be the person awkwardly asking for the wifi password, it shows me you are not prepared for any situation
It can't hurt to have, but I wouldn't say it's necessary. You should have the opportunity to share a link to your online portfolio at some point during the application/interview process.
I was laughed at for bringing in a printed portfolio 15 years ago so no.
I don't think it is necessary but it also doesn't hurt. I always bring a printed copy with me just in case. Inevitably someone will ask to see it and you will be glad you brought it.

No not necessary but have a plan on how you’re going to present digital material. I prepped with the recruiter on equipment asks and showed up early to have both on hand. I’m my field it was nice to have some physical examples of my work, and mostly lean on the digital for images and sketches.
