Is anyone else struggling to date outside the profession? I feel like I’m always apologizing—for being late, for rescheduling, for texting back two days later because I was stuck in doc review or prepping for a depo. And when I do show up, I end up explaining what I actually do all day because most people outside law assume it’s all courtroom drama. I want a relationship, but my job eats my life. Has anyone figured out how to make dating work without either lying about your schedule or burning out?
