My suggestion would be to wait for an offer Letter...
If u can afford, few months without job post notice period... Then u can go ahead....
But of job is critical for u.. don't take the extra pressure...
Once u resign in TCS... You cant take leaves properly...
So, prepare for ur interviews.. take sick leaves and whatever leaves and use that...
Once u get an offer, u resign...
Iam a bit old school in these situations and would say to perhaps wait for an offer to arrive and then resign.
Reason : Resigning without an offer may put you in lots of pressure particularly in situations where one has responsibilities, iam not saying that folks who put pappers before getting an offer are wrong, it's just just an invisible risk which starts lurking and that can only be tamed when one has a strong head.

Yes you can resign without offer... Since our notice period is 3month we don't receive much calls for first 45 days.. so prepare for 45days and don't panic... You will receive n number of calls in last 45days... All the best
Thank you for the honest reply.. i have been preparing since 2 months but i don't have that seriousness and also one call/mail regarding production issues ruin my preparation And i start looking in resolving the issue. Hence i felt let me resign first and then get out of this bullshit

I’ll suggest first do prepare well n after that put your resignation. Even I resigned without any offer & preparation. So initially got rejected by few companies, later I prepared and got offer letter within 1st month of NP.

Depends on your financial situation. Do you have back up for at least 6 months? Covered with external health insurance? Then sure.
If not, then please put extra effort daily and weekends to prepare for the interviews.
Thanks for the post and comments, i have the same dilemma but you guys gave me confidence.
Get some offer letter before resignation.
Till then u can do many cources that tcs offers .
There is a good chance in Capgemini, cognizant or other company where attrition rate is high
See who ever resign without offer have pressure and when you're in pressure your negotiaton power decrease.
It become more stress full also when you're serving NP without offer then what you will show to the other company.
Recruiter are smart once they smell it they will break you.
Relax wait for atleast some decent offer then resign then you can play with market will more clammed and relax attitude
