Everyone is paid bonuses based on number of hires so they will do anything to get new hires in the door. Even if the new hires go back out the door I think there is still good compensation for getting them there in the first place
Depends on the company. When I was at W&R the recruitment managers were paid bonuses based on number of hires, so they should all be glad they weren't Pinocchio.
It is a huge red flag for what is to come, but the problem is that you don't know about the BS until you're already on board.
The speed of income only. Was told 3 yrs what took me 5 yrs to achieve. But the workload becomes pretty apparent within the first 3 months. I’d argue you weren’t recruited recently. W&R hasn’t onboarded ppl in 2 yrs while they try to figure out who they are
VERY COMMON!!
Knew the workload but they used GDC figures like take home pay - definitely mislead everyone on that. This was 2007 though
Call up your local Edward Jones office and visit. Seriously, no comparison. Or no matter where you are, you can call me, I’m an FA in Washington state, not a recruiter. (509) 946-7626. I’ve seen a lot of people come over, great salary/commission/bonus structure. And who we are has never changed. Shelley
