Yes, they do. That’s an important point. Thank you for making it. The good news is that the tax tables are provided on the exam. Otherwise, all of the information in the materials remains relevant.

They are in excellent condition. Some still in original wrapping and unopened. I just passed the March exam. Would love to see all of the materials go to a good home.

advice; wish i had kept mine

The CFP was the most useful designation I earned in my 25 year career. Unlike many other designations, I learned quite a few useful things during the CFP course. Sadly I lost my books after the exam. I forget if I threw them out or just lost them. Regardless there have been many times I wanted to refer to them for one thing or another.

I want to start on the chfc and cfp but the courses are 8k through American college. Is there a better alternative out there? I definitely think there's value in them but that's a bit steep for me

I don't have anyone else who gets this, but I hit my personal goal this year in almost every category; revenue, income, AUM growth, etc. Our fiscal year ends in October and I ended the year with a bang. Just super excited and I hope everyone else knows, this business is worth it when you put in the time and effort! Edit: also passed CFP in March!

Is it just me, or is the big 4 sales culture low energy? I get the RFP process is painful, having done it in other industries myself, but the way I've seen most people sell in these firms seems mediocre for the amount of support that gets thrown at these opportunities.
