Hey, Fishies! We’re launching our first Interview/Q+A series "Portfolio Rewind: Would You Hire You?"
Like a portfolio review in reverse, creative leaders will share work they created when they first started out and critique it as if were a book that had just landed in their inbox. Then, tell us if they’d hire their younger selves knowing, and expecting, what they do now.
Drop in for get the chance to ask questions, and get your book reviewed by our guest. Hope you can make it!

Yes, this is a longstanding issue (10+ years)

They’re super busy right now but I don’t think that’s a fair excuse for missing phone calls. Is it the recruiter missing calls or people on the team you’d be working on? It seems like they used contractors on the recruiting team so that could be part of the issue. It took them awhile to get back to me to schedule the final round(I think I was ultimately a back up choice), but after my final round interview I got the offer within 3 days
How long ago did you speak to the partner? If you have their email or can find them on LinkedIn I would reach out to them to try and get a decision if you really want this role
When I interviewed as a campus hire, EY ghosted me, a year later when I interviewed for a consulting position they were on the ball and I had a verbal offer within 2 weeks. Just depends on the recruiter.
Sadly common experience, would keep recruiting and following up with the recruiter
If anything ask for more $$ the more the wait takes
Would also reach out to the partner/interviewers letting them know you are very interested and still have no heard anything
A lot of times they have no insight into what happening to candidates
Best of luck OP!!
