I turn on premium every quarter to see who viewed my profile.
Everytime i turn it off, they will offer me -50% next month.
Thoughts? Pulse it and save ;)

OP: Aside from joining Premium, there is something else you can do that’s free.
The reason you’re not getting interviews from your applications could just be the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Read this article carefully and change your resume according to each application.
It seems non-sensical but it worked for me. I had applied for many jobs I was qualified for and and been completely ignored. The first time I tried tailoring my resume to the specific application I got an interview straight away.
I meant resume and cover letter. My brain is fried.
Messaging recruiters tends to be pointless, stick to emails.
Emails tend to be pointless as well.
Premium helped me open up connections I couldn't reach. There are benefits but only if you take advantage of it. There's more than just in-mail features like e-learning. You can cancel the membership at any time so when you're done with the service, just update your billing.
Don't be discouraged OP, you haven't even attempted this yet. You're psyching yourself out before you have had the chance to try. If you're aware of your financial situation then you know you need to hustle during your first free month.
Totally get it OP, there's alot of us in this position. Keep your head up, you can do it! Keep on trying and pro tip, always personalize your messages when outreaching.

I turned it on during my last search. Helped get intros and great to see who was viewing my profile. My position came through my network in the end...but Premium did help the search.
I’m just nervous that I won’t stand a chance without premium.
Do it for the free 1 month and milk it.
Use the free period but after that, I wouldn’t waste your money. If you reach out with a connection request and you’re actually a solid candidate for the job, they’ll be happy to hear from you.
I recently did the free trial. Was surprised to learn you only get 5 inmails (which was pretty much the reason I did it). I am in Canada, it might be different in the US.

If the recipient responds to the i mail, it gets credited back to you.
From the FAQ:
How many InMail messages do I receive per month?
Premium Career: 5
Premium Business: 15
Sales Navigator: 20
Recruiter Lite: 30
When will I receive more InMail credits?
InMail credits expire after 90 days. However, you will receive an InMail credit back if a recipient accepts your InMail.
Thanks everyone for your thoughts. They’ve all been really helpful. One more question - what do you even do when you can see who viewed your profile?!? Reach out and be like hey I saw you viewed my profile?? Lol
I mean you could and not say you saw they viewed your profile... just pen it up to mere coincidence. It works if they are an existing contact and you're just saying hi. Don't have to disclose they saw your profile.
Another thing is: if someone from a company you've applied to recently viewed your profile, you can shoot them a follow up email to reinforce your interest in the position.
Be creative!
