Hi, I am being offered 27L + 2L Variable for Manager (M1) at KPMG India. Will I also be eligible for year end performance bonus? Or is variable pay the only amount that I’d be eligible for?

Yes, EE and CS are useful for getting a patent litigation job. The job experience can also help, but not as much. I have 7 years experience in SW, and I wish I would have gone to law school after just 2.
The EE is more useful, as it is harder to just understand circuits, compared with software.
In the job, you will need to pay attention and make sure you are not pigeon-holed into being just a technical person. Make sure you still get the research and briefing assignments, as well as the stand-up experience in court.
Generally still go for a good school. Can certainly drop a bit of rank for scholarships or other financial reasons. Also consider where you want to practice. On-campus recruiting still tends to funnel to the local regional markets.

EE/CS is helpful and in high demand. But I agree with others — you don’t want to just be the “technical” attorney on a case supporting the first chair litigators. Those attorneys have a hard time moving beyond junior partner roles.
Sure. Not as helpful as in prosecution, but it’s a plus.
