Is having an EE/CS degree helpful for getting a job in patent litigation? What about technical work experience?

Hi, I am currently working for a marketing and advertising agency, my work here involves demand forecasting , inventory forecasting and campaign management. Right now I have an offer from one of the Big 4s for a Consulting role.

My question is how difficult is it to move from PI consulting to a an FMCG company? How easy/ difficult will it be for me to move across industries?

I have 9 years of experience as a QA out of which last 2-3 is an individual contributor (sole qa owner) plus team lead of a qa team.. I want to pursue masters in the UK so I can have a role like Project Manager/Test Manager/Scrum Master in the future.. what course should I go for:
1. MSc Management
2. Business Analysis and Consulting
3. MBA (not so easy as I don't want to give GMAT, will select certain colleges that do not need GMAT score)

I’m on the consulting side (FDD) and I’m curious if there are PE firms with good WLB. I’m happy with my pay, growth, and hours. PE interests me but I don’t understand why anyone would want to consistently work 65+ hours a week every week. What’s the appeal? Making double the pay? What’s the exit plan?

I'm in Deloitte general consulting practice and have an opportunity to move over to Monitor strategy. The problem: Monitor fresh MBA grad hire is 100k while I'm underpaid at 60k. If I exit to another firm, my options are 100kish.

Spoke with someone who transferred to Monitor from general consulting and was told they did not match his pay (remained stagnant). Should I transfer for branding or jump?

I have been practicing as a patent prosecutor for 10yrs and I really have grown to dislike drafting. I've always had an interest in litigation but never seem to have opportunities at the firms I've been at to gain experience. Has anyone successfully taken a job as a patent litigator without prior experience?

Billables as a mid-level IP litigation associate at Big Law, AM100, and AM200 firms? I’m currently doing 60% patent prosecution, 40% litigation at a mid-sized IP boutique and am considering lateraling for a patent litigation position, but I’m concerned about work life balance, especially since my SO and I are expecting. I currently have a 1900 target, and I routinely bill about 2000. I’m interviewing at DLA, Saul Ewing, Honigman, and Fox Rothschild (all DC offices).
