I have a governmental entity client in Texas that wants to offer 6 weeks of paid parental leave for all employees, even those who aren’t eligible for FMLA. After the paid 6 weeks, the employee can choose to continue paid leave using any accrued personal leave.

Texas does not have a paid parental leave statute.

If paid leave above what is required is offered for parents, do we also have to provide the same benefit to other employees that are eligible for unpaid leave?

Variable: 3 LPA

And other from IBM
Fixed: 20LPA

Which one should I consider?
Having known about HCL that they pay variable quite less at the end of year.

Plus I don't know how do HCL provide the hike?

I had joined PWC SDC in January 2021 and it's been just a month, I'm absolutely disliking it in terms of work, team, work-life balance, people and many more

I started my notice period journey ~3 months ago, when i received an offer from company A.
Now at the end of my notice period I have decided to join company B.
Company A was very supportive during my notice period and always open to negotiation on salary and location. I'm feeling guilty not joining them 😕

Once people crack company like Microsoft , do they ever leave it or stay their for life. If i crack it , i don't think i will need to switch again for life.
