I had a first interview last Tuesday with Amazon, which I think went well, although I still haven't heard back 6 days later and then got an OOO annual leave msg and a no response when I chased up the named colleague today. Is this typical behaviour others have experienced when dealing with the big tech company recruiters? I found Google and Facebook recruiters to be efficient and TikTok so-so, if not a little slow, but 6 days+ seems poor.

At a dead end and don't know what to do besides stop! I've been job searching everyday, some days several hours for 8 months straight. I have about 100 different resumes that I've edited for different type of positions. I've got nothing but denials, recruiter screenings, 2 interviews and ghosted. Looking to get a bit of insight on breaking into tech working as an executive assistant after working for BigLaw for 20+ years.

I've been applying to tech companies for executive assistant positions - in particular, remote work positions - and I have yet to get a nibble.

I'm extremely tech savvy and have a lot of initiative but I am afraid that these companies are put off by how long I've been working assuming that I am a middle-aged woman that is not able to go with the flow.

Is it possible to switch from consulting to ibanking with a STEM background while on H1B? Or does USCIS care that your education and background fits perfectly into the little description? Job I’m interested in says STEM/business/finance UG required (it’s a capital markets role) but I’m unsure of how this would work (never switched jobs before on H1B). TIA!

Anyone received the EPFO interest in their PF passbook?

KPMG has only mentioned the fixed part of salary in the offer letter. Somehow the recruiter said the % variable part wouldn’t be mentioned in it. While on call she said the variable can go upto as high as 20% of fixed but usually above 10% for an average rating. So would it be right for me to say the CTC is Fixed + 20% fixed without being explicitly said in the offer letter?

Hi All, I attended interview for Capgemini.After technical round I recieved a mail from their Hr team asking for documents like payslip , last year form 16 , certificates and id proof. I was surprised as I didn't receive any call from their Hr team mentioning I got selected and no salary discussion took place . Finally after contacting them they informed this is the usual process and they will send offer letter only after sharing these information. Can anyone confirm if this is legit their hiring process?
