It's always been a dream of mine to work at Google, specifically as a UX designer (currently transitioning into UX from visual design). I've been so afraid to apply to any jobs with UX title, Google or not, because I'm always doubting myself and telling myself I'm still under-qualified.
UX designers & hiring managers, what are the skills a designer must have to be "qualified" for a UX position? Keywords on resume? Certifications? Thank you all in advance!

I would say go ahead with one of the stronger offers and continue interviewing with your dream job. It can be a good practice plus FAANG likes to see returning candidates and how they grew since interviewing them last time. Either way, if you do get the dream job couple months down the line there’s nothing stopping you from taking it imo.
I just went through interviews with FB, Google and Pinterest and didn’t get an offer at any of them. I probably wasn’t prepared enough, but it’s tough to be working full time and interview. We can support each other though!
My replies are disappearing but it's awesome you were able to get interviews! Imo that's one of the hardest parts of the process. What did you learn
from your interviews?
FAANG interviews take a long time. I’ve worked at Amazon previously and now at Oracle. I’m currently interviewing with Microsoft, Apple, Salesforce, FB and Google which is taking me total of 3 months to get a offer. I would only do the interview based on your career goals because the bar for FAANG is different also.
Would you mind if we DM'd and I took a look at the portfolio and presentation you used for Google? They reached out again about a role that really suits me. Id love some examples of portfolios and presentations that resulted in interviews and offers to get a sense of what versions of success look like.

Seems late. If you’re interested in the other companies I’d probably wait.
If none of them are that interesting to you then I’d say shoot your shot! Congrats on getting to where you are, try not to get too caught up on names of companies though—go where you feel like spending your time.
