I worked audit then fp&a and now consulting (cash flow, liquidity forecasting, business planning & turnaround) and wondering whether a more commercially focused (Group) Financial Controller role (in a PE backed buy and build strategy company) might make most sense next step wise especially if there is a route to FD then CFO eventually. Is no one interested in such opportunities?
