Is it okay to transfer to another Big4 after 1 YOE or is it too risky?

Risk of what though? All the people who care about loyalty in the corporate world will retire or change their views in the next couple years anyways and aren’t worth working for.

Guess you aren’t going to convince me and I aren’t to you. It’s up to OP to decide what they want to do. I’m just providing my 2c to OP.

Fwiw, the candidate I said clearly lacked a lot of knowledge during the interview and we didn’t move with an offer.

One time is fine. Doing every year consistently will be a red flag.

These days, you can do it every year and they would still welcome you in.

^ this. Honestly no one cares. If you want to get PAID you have to jump around. Everyone else understands this

Agree with poster above - 1 time is fine. I’ve been in a meeting with a very senior partner telling me that if he sees candidates who have worked with multiple big 4s, it’s a big red flag to him.

I will complete bachelor degree in safety next year, so I was curious is this a reasonable offer to start my Safety career path? Also what are other certifications to better myself?

Hi All, just sharing what on mind to vent it out from my system. Maybe with this I could gain some insights and inspiration.
I have been working as a data scientist since 2018 & have been the bread winner. I have neither been under a proper mentor nor with a team of peers from my field to help me out. I was alone and confused. I have never really got the chance to prove myself which makes me all the more depressed. I'm not sure what to do with my future, indecisive and low on confidence.

I am currently unemployed (but looking) an opportunity to consult has potentially fallen into my lap. Before I shut it down for a lack of experience, I want to know if it's something that I can even do. It's a very very small company, not even 3 FTE. But they are looking for someone to come in, create a Handbook(I can do that), provide benefits, etc.

Is that difficult to implement? I can't imagine it being so, but I don't want to set myself up to fail.

Have any of you taken "low bono" clients while working at a firm? I want to take on a low bono client or two but not sure who would get the money. This is a contract opportunity through a non profit so I'm assuming a 1099 will be issued. The per hour rate is significantly less than my billable rate. I would (obviously) like the money but my real objective is just getting experience/networking since I recently moved to a new state and don't have clients of my own.
