Is it okay to travel just to do… nothing? A while back, I booked a tiny cabin in the woods, turned off my phone, and spent three days reading, napping, and staring at trees. No museums, no hikes, no “must-see” lists. And honestly? It was one of the most restful, meaningful trips I’ve ever taken. But sometimes I still feel this weird guilt for not “maximizing” the experience. Do you ever take trips with zero agenda—or do you feel pressure to constantly be doing something?

I work as an AGM in a busy restaurant. Been working there for just over a year, and haven't had a single raise. I now only make 0.50 cents more than even the lowest paid shift lead but I am doing a lot more work. I'm no longer satisfied with these conditions.
