JPMorgan Chase Did a first round interview for a senior level position at JP Morgan.. hiring manager said I should receive a call back within a couple of weeks.. been over a month.. no intimation post that.. the HR in charge of hiring or scheduling haven’t replied to my emails on what comes next and haven’t scheduled anything. So should I consider this as a dead end ? Does this generally happen at JP? Feels weird that I have been ghosted after what I felt was a very good interview.. Was a good fit too.JPMorgan Chase

My probation was supposed to be of 6 months (i.e until June 2022), but today I received a notification in Workday that I have passed my probation.
How is this possible?
I was planning to resign within probation for 30days notice period. But now this happened. Will this change my notice period to 90days??

Just tell Marriott you want points instead
You were reimbursed for an expense incurred as part of your job. That expense turned out to be lower than you thought it would be. So now you need to amend your claimed expense.
This is pretty simple -- if you have to jump through hoops to keep a refund it probably doesn't belong to you
Do you need that $50 that badly? It's not even yours
Just spend $50 on the card and write it off as personal when doing expenses. Won't harm you if it's a 1 time thing
You understand that pocketing the refund is stealing from the firm, right?
Okay, so I'll resubmit the expense once it comes in. Help me understand why it's not a goodwill scenario though. The rooms were the same price, but they were overbooked on the kings. Marriott has a room guarantee for Gold+ members where they refund $50/stay if it wasn't available.
Because it's not your money. The firm paid for the room. The room was cheaper than charged. The firm gets the money back. You get to keep getting a paycheck, which is the deal. Your money comes from paycheck, bonus, award. Not card.
Hey, i actually got in trouble for that with our accounting folks. You have to go back and resubmit the expense to include the refund
Agree with BCG1, after rereading this it's not like a goodwill scenario. It's a different room type that was cheaper. This is not yours to spend
Because you didn't pay for it OP . Come on man show some ethics and judgement here
They said it's not possible to get it as a gift card or to another card. How can I use the $50 refund? Is it stuck on the Amex and I have to do some personal expenses?
No
I asked for points. They said they would ask, but she didn't think she could.
I'll just do $50 of personal spending on it then. Thanks.
Is it really? I had to call them for it.
Marriott is screwing you then with that benefit. They should make it points or credit, not a refund
