EY FSRM role OR JPMC PM role OR Shell Market Risk role

Requirement - relatively better work life balance / stable pay
YOE - 4.5 yrs
All offers are more or less equivalent in terms of compensation (though fixed & bonus are highest at Shell) - close to 27 LPA total CTC

Have worked in a consulting firm and so know about the wlb there!

What is a reasonable base to expect from a client side tech company. Head of BA role? Currently solo BA but looking to scale the department.

First appraisal will happen next year after 17 months of joining
Questions:
A. When does the process start ?
B. My performance has been good and client has given good feedback, How much hike should I expect ?
C. I will be eliGible for promotion in Apr , Next year. What will the promotion process?
D. How much Promotion hike can I expect when the band changes C2 to D1 ?

I'm at a target uni for Big 4 accounting. I applied for and received an offer for Summer 2023 Risk&FinancialAdvisory - Technology internship w Deloitte. I'd like to get into Big 4 consulting ideally when full-time. I'm an engineering student - I'm not going to be interested in IT audit. Summer 2023 will be the summer after sophomore year, so I'll be declining the full-time return offer and I'll be looking for a different internship after junior year.

How do you deal with the following - 1) lack of general organization in life, note taking, keeping track of your relationships and 2) attention to detail. These 2 things have been bothering me a lot. Another foot-in-my-mouth situation where what I said was misinterpreted but still shouldn’t have said in the first place. My lack of filter, especially after a few drinks, is constantly getting me in trouble. How many of you are struggling with not having your mouth lead your brain?

I recently got diagnosed with ADHD. I'm 31 and found this only because b school and post mba consulting job was/is much more challenging than anything I did before. What I'm confused about is that even as a teenager I could read entire books overnight. But the last two years of high school I started selectively zoning out and the problem has become worse since. I just realised it now. My doctor has suggested treating depression (I was also unaware of this) with Wellbutrin first (contd)

On interview days, do you take adderall / concerta? I’m nervous that it can make me seem more robotic / less personable during cases etc.

I have not been diagnosed with ADHD. I definitely fit some of the characteristics that go unnoticed in females. The good news is if i do have ADHD, it makes me quite good at my job as I’m very flexible and can provide positive energy to my patients. Anyway, my boss has told me I have ADHD multiple times. It seems rude when she says it, and she follows it up with “I say that because I love you” which i feel is so unprofessional all around. Anyone have guidance on how to handle this?

Hey all just FYI my psych told me in my appointment that stimulants ordered from Express Scripts often give patients problems...including me. Felt like I was taking something totally different.
