Yeah firms won’t disclose why someone left. That’s a huge lawsuit waiting to happen
Do not worry. Background checks typically only confirm dates of employment and final title. People know that layoffs happen and most will be impacted over their whole career.
Why does it matter? I was laid off from my previous employer with a large group and it opened up a lot of doors for me. Recruiters won’t see it as a bad thing
It’s absolutely nothing to worry about. There’s no stigma these day associated with layoffs - everyone understands that these things happen from time to time, and that being picked isn’t correlated with poor performance

no they will not find out in background check. No firm gives out reason and also new firms don’t ask about that. Background check will
be on roles and responsibilities
