Don't see how that's possible. When push comes to shove, you don't have to worry about providing for yourself or your family. So you can skew your balance towards the "life" side of the ratio without any consequence.
I never had to work to eat/live (trust fund baby). Doesn't mean I don't care about WLB though.
@a1. Trust funds aren't just about money. Ivanka never had to hustle just to get noticed by her manager. She never had to put in an extra 4 hours to try to get attention for her work. In every job she had people knew who she was when she walked in the room. At best she just had to make sure that she cleared some bar rather than rose above her peers.
The idea the any of the living Trumps have any idea what average worker or real businesses go through is ridiculous. The Donald has failed at every business he didn't inherit.
I think it's hilarious. I'd take advice from my hotel housekeeping staff before I would listen to her. No, I do not have one ounce of sympathy for her.
If you can't respect the royal family of America you should get out of America
@OP and @A1 both make valid points. It's not about never "having" to work -- it's more about privileges she can afford or is allowed because she worked for her own/her dad's company. Like nannies, relocating and placing her career on hold as she wishes, or even when ladies like Marissa Meyer built a nursery next to her office and brought her kids to yahoo. Most women do not have access to things like that.
People without trust funds have to work more to get to the same position. That is more on the work side of the work-life balance
A1 isn't advising the country on how to run it or delusional enough to think they should
Jealous working class
M1, I'm not disagreeing with any of that. Talking strictly about work life balance.
OP, I don't see how anyone can disagree with your justification. Their perceptual reality will be so far skewed away from the actual reality, that it's beyond their capability to see their own ignorance. It might not even be their fault tbh. Your distinction, on how Ivanka would never be able to connect with uncertainty because of the Risk involved in any her situation being 0 is well made. This argument, that the loss of the outcome nullifies the probability of an event, is brilliant!!
Yes, poor soul.
Btw she has many supporters:)
