Larsen & Toubro Infotech Can someone decline from joining the org on the joining date? I am expecting a counter offer with the same DOJ, but i wont be rejecting the current company i am joining, unless I see the offer from the countering org. Any suggestions on how to handle this situation? It is safe. Just stay alert and look confident. People on my mess with people who look like targets. But, I’ve traveled all over the city using Marta to avoid traffic and parking at sporting events and the airport. I love Marta
Yes!! Here for the Marta love! I also love it and as a woman, have never felt unsafe-look for cars in the middle of the train with more passengers
Yes to MARTA! I really would love to see more people using it so we can break some stigma on public transport!

I’m saying no because I asked the same question to a Partner who had been with Deloitte and based in the Atlanta office for over 30 years. He strongly advised me against it and he knows Atlanta way better than I do.
MARTA is great! Keep your awareness up and enjoy bypassing traffic and parking around the airport.
You'll be fine as long as you don't stare and ignore anyone who seems not quite right. Just keep to yourself and travel while focusing on you and you'll be fine. I've had a rule that there's only allowed to be one crazy person per train car as the quota and it must be met on a long Marta ride. In 20+ years of occasionally riding Marta, I've never had or seen an incident that didn't involve breaking the rules of not responding to the crazy person.
Hi 7 to 8pm is still rather busy with commuters. Also Marta has its own law enforcement and they are very visible. Atlanta traffic is horrible and drivers are maniacs so Marta is a good option.

Don't go into an empty car. Headphones in. Don't make eye contact. If someone seems sketchy, put distance between yourselves by switching seats or cars. Don't be shy about your safety.

I’ve taken the last train at 1 am from the airport more times than I’d like. Just remain alert and don’t draw attention to yourself/give attention to others. You’ll be fine.

I’ve done it before. It’s best if you don’t need to change trains. I would choose an Uber if it was $15 or under though.
Personally a big fan of just getting to Atlantic Station and scheduling an Uber from there for cheap

Caveat that my friend was almost knifed by a crazy person on MARTA. He blocked them with his backpack full of textbooks and managed to backpedal out of the car. He doesn’t ride without a CCW anymore 🙁

Safe, yes. If you’re worried, sit in the front car where the driver is. Most people get on in the middle cars
