If you want to stop taking screenshots and do something else
Of course it would (unless it's an it audit focused MBA lol)
If you don’t love IT, MBA is your best bet. I was RA at PwC and decided to do an M7 MBA full time, now in management consulting at BCG and I wouldn’t change any of it. The relevancy of transferable skills I am gaining makes me wonder why I ever went into RA in the first place. I have an incredible network of highly motivated successful people and a career trajectory that no longer involves looking at access reports.
To caveat, I got a scholarship that paid for most of my MBA.

Good for you. Yeah if it's m7 even getting a loan will be worth it imo. With scholarships it's a no brainer
If you are ok with pursuing a career other than IT audit, for any jobs after MBA, your relevant work experience will be nil.
But what type of opportunities would it present?
You can look up where the alumni end up. You don't sound like you know what you want to do though... Which might mean MBA isn't for you
A CPA would probably open more doors on getting out of IT Audit
True
Hell no lol
I still struggle with my ROI on that. It’s good to have because I didn’t want some young gun with no experience getting chosen for a role over me because they had an MBA and I didn’t. Looking back, maybe a PMP certificate would have been a less expensive option with more immediate benefit? No matter what, always good to continue your education.
Yeah that's how I ultimately decided against it even though already took GMAT. I was thinking m7 or busy, but with a family it's hard to not make money for two years
It will open new doors but I think your prev work experience would be worthless.
