Deloitte isn’t MBB, bud
Dont worry, layoffs are coming
I’m feeling the same way except coming from ACN.
ditto
Yep. I left deloitte a few years back for a 40% raise and significantly better quality of life.. didn’t realize how toxic the situation I was in was until a few months after I left
If the basis is to avoid hitting salary plateau, yes - I think it makes sense. You’ll certainly be able to readjust market value. However, if you love your team, the culture - make sure if you decide to go, that you vet the next place carefully. I think we all tend to overlook how important culture is on our happiness - need to balance out the “pls fix”

ACN is known to pay less than D
unless you’re coming in as an experienced hire. they’ll try to lure you in with a higher salary

Absolutely. Nothing wrong with jumping ship for career advancement, as long as you understand that the grass isn't always greener, aside from the initial salary bump.
You will generally nearly always start to lag behind your market worth the longer you stay at a given firm compared to what you could get on the outside at each point.

What do you do?
Curious to what that is? Is that marketing software implementation?

I’d only leave for ACN. Depends on what you do at Deloitte.
You get the biggest salary bumps by leaving
Yes, it's even worth leaving MBB for another consulting firm in many circumstances
