My current CTC is 7 lpa and YOE: 3 years. How can I renegotiate with them. Will they not process my offer letter if I ask them to reconsider? P.S. : I really want to join amdocs. Amdocs

Yes. L4 is more likely an associate partner anyway (in fact it was during the Andersen Consulting days). More upside in MBB and a true strategy brand.
that seems like a demotion, and culturally Accenture is polar opposite atleast. You should talk to the guy who made the opposite switch from BCG Principal/Partner (below MDP equity partner) to Accenture partner/MD to get his take. Sure you can find him on LinkedIn.
What is longer term in your mind?
Because joining as AP you won’t have 3 years in front of you if you don’t deliver sales target very quickly- and it’s known to be very difficult to succeed as a lateral AP/salary partner at MBB (especially M), and they’re being ruthless in the current environnement.
If you’re planning to exit soon then do it to take the badge and increase exit optionality, otherwise you risk being unemployed without a backup plan in 18 months
Thinking too much, MD. Sell what you can, make money, enjoy life.
Yes go
I made the change and it was like night and day. Accenture is not true strategy consulting in any way. BCG is.
I have explored and haven’t come across L4 Accenture to direct partner at MBB.
Have seen AP lateral hires primarily
Grass is always greener. Many ACN MD come here and rue the day. Don’t be fooled by our brand
I would not.
I would not. I understand the McKinsey or BCG tag, but selling deals there is entirely different than what Accenture or Big 4 does. It would be difficult to thrive as a direct admit.
Yes, it makes sense. I have Accenture friends who have done exactly the same move and made Partner in 2 years.
Don’t forget the market is not same as it used to be though. Again, upside in terms of brand and exit opps for sure, but path to partner will be an uphill battle.
