Guys, I had very less HRA for April 2022 till August 2022. I was showing 1 lac annual rent .I joined new organisation in sept and now HRA is 43000 per month. Would that be okay to show high rent as 30000 per month to my wife as landlord. Earlier I was paying 9000 rs per month to different landlord. @ IBM

Hi ! I have gotten an offer via email for what I believe is level 9 data visualization specialist in the dc area. I have a masters and 3.5 years of consulting experience. I’ve gotten an initial offer and trying to get some context on what the range is for this and whether I should push for more or accept. I'm the hiring mgr for designers in my org. I recently discovered pay band information given to me by the HR generalist I'm working with on hiring was outdated and updated bands had been released over the summer (prior to my hire date). The outdated information had led me to believe a prime candidate was out of range. Aside from incompetence, can anyone think of a reason why HR might have withheld information about the pay bands? I assume mgrs see the full monty when it comes to pay...right?

How much of a pay cut are you willing to take to (hopefully) re-find purpose in your job?

My Context: work in tech, company has HQ in the Bay but I live in Canada. Single, no kids, 1 mortgage, no debts.

TC: ~200k USD (60% base / 40% equity). I put very low effort, completely disengaged and unmotivated, with anxiety building up. Don’t like the company, but very few companies can match where I live

I’m being offered ~110k to work more, better title, fun project and company
