Is it SAFE joining Wipro as technical lead (B3) with 37LPA? Knowing that package is pretty high as compared to collogues in same band. HR is not ready to give project manager(C1) position.
Appreciate your suggestions/input.
Would there be any scope of increment going forward?

God I wish.
If pmo dies, so does Deloitte. Rip.
I think a lot of firms would be severely hurt if PMO died
I’d actually be very curious to see how big and small firms adjusted
Will take 100 years for Karen to give that data point “automatically”
It will just create a battle of the bots - the AI will chase the project team, the project team not will send a any reply to close the action flag and it will need manual pmo intervention.
I think there are simple tasks which can be automated such as validation of timelines etc but that should just be data ingestion - If people did their job, and everyone was honest - pmo low value add work would be redundant.
AI General intelligence is still wayssss away.. wouldn’t be so worried for the next couple decades
“I’m sorry Dave, I can’t do that.”
AI has obviously been prepared to work in PMO or the DMV since 2001: A Space Odyssey.
We actually have semi automated PMO assets. Helps reduce the pain
It can’t come soon enough
it already exists. have used it in industry in niche repeatable projects (commercial bank m&a, SAP data conversion). thought i’d see it more in consulting, but haven’t yet.
I want to work on that project! Making AI replace project management teams - keep those damn charts and dashboards current, report to leadership regularly, tell the client No to scope creep
what i’m referring to automates the charts, dashboards, and reminders. stakeholder mgmt and the other more strategic parts are still key PM activities
