Is the Google brand on a resume + perks enough to go down a level from my current role and make 30k less base?

I read a lot on here on work-life balance and the different titles etc. but a lot of folks assume the offer is comparable or better, and mine is less.

How do you leverage a conversation with a recruiter to have them help you find a role that's a better fit if the initial role they presented isn't something of interest to you?

Had an interview for SM role at ACN 3 weeks back but haven’t heard back. This was skills round interview after HR round. Am I still in the game or it’s a no? Don’t want to followup with HR just yet.

I've been engaged in the Google SWE interview process for the last couple months. Just got confirmation today I passed Hiring Committee and will go into team matching.

Wanted to know, is an offer likely at this point or is it a coin toss? I am open to most locations and most areas of work aside from cloud and mobile, but am willing to be more flexible if need be.

Recruiting just let me know they will NOT be sending me to the the hiring committee but want to stay in touch about other potential roles. Is this what they tell everyone?
