Is the spectra s1 as good as elvie/willow? Does just getting any one work? I ll have to go to work everyday probably from month 3

I take my s1 to work everyday. Kind of a pain but I haven’t had any issue forgetting to bring it. I’ve heard great things about Elvie and willow (quieter, more discrete, no cords) but haven’t tried anything but the s1

like

Yes thank goodness.

Prefer the S1 to the Elvie by far.

I have both S1 and Elvie and am happy to have both. Elvie is great for discreet pumping on the go.

like

I like the s1 for your main pump but i also have the Elvie and LOVE them

Idk about discount but it’s an HSA eligible expense

I had the willow 3.0 and used it just a few times. Ended up not needing it since I quit my job and was able to pump at home 🙃 I really liked it and thought it would have been so so useful to pump on the go. I was thinking I could do it whilst commuting but no need!

The wearables are notorious for not fully emptying you which may mean that your milk supply will suffer. I have the spectra and just got the willow go recently. After using willow go I pumped for ten minutes on the spectra and got two more ounces. So just be aware.

I just got the pumpables genie advanced and ordered legendary milk cups to have something a bit more portable when I return to work. I honestly don’t think the willow is worth it.

Misled on Maternity Leave Policy. I found out I only get 4 weeks pay for maternity leave (STD +“sick days”). I will take 12 weeks but wont get paid for 8 weeks. I work for a US, west coast based company in the tech/VC industry. Their website claims to offer “paid parental leave and other progressive benefits for parents”. I didn’t find out until after I was hired their pay was only 8 weeks but since I have been at the company less than 12 months, I don’t qualify for their policy. Is this unfair?

Hi everyone,
So I had my NIPT and NT scans last week and I’ve been getting pieces of the results back from my doctor in the patient portal. All seems okay but I’m a bit confused. Does anyone know if FirstScreen is the same thing as NIPT? I was under the impression that NIPT was in 90th percent of certainty for Down syndrome but the result we got, labeled FirstScreen indicate 83% certainty so I’m confused if there are more results coming? I messaged the doctor but haven’t heard back yet.
