No. Whenever I travel for work I spend most of the time in meetings. We do stuff after work that’s cool sometimes but not worth the exhaustion of having to present and pay attention while adjusting to time zone changes. I’d rather travel on my own dime so I can enjoy my trips and see stuff. Only upside is that I get higher flyer status with delta

It was , loses its luster quick
It’s hard enough to keep a grip on reality when you’re in the VC world, I find. Throw is just non stop dopamine inducing activity (new places, conferences, new people etc) you lost concept of time and place. It’s fun at time sure but the work doesn’t stop just because you’re in Miami, or x city. Deals still happen, portfolio companies blow up.
This job is very much work life integration but when you’re spending less time at home than on the road - then when you’re home you’re catching up on all your local relationships the integration doesn’t balance.
Just my two cents - but there is a reason that as you progress you’re more thoughtful about travel
