“Reflecting on and adopting the use of micro-affirmations would be a positive strategy to prevent microaggressions. Micro-affirmations are small acts that foster inclusion, listening, comfort and support for people who may feel isolated or invisible in their environment. Focus on action, not avoidance – create new good behaviours.”

Yes but wayfair quality can be hit or miss.
Wayfair is the epitome of hit or miss
Rising Star
Wayfair is just a drop shipper of a lot of different manufacturers. Some are good, some are bad, but nothing is actually made by Wayfair, so you’re better off asking about the actually brand/manufacturer than the middle man company. For example - south shore furniture? Almost always broken partial board or missing pieces. Lark Manor? Much better.
Pro
Yes reverse search! I found a tv stand I liked on wayfair, searched it on Google and found it for cheaper at Home Depot
Go to a real furniture store. You're paid well. Quit living like a liberal arts graduate.
I guess ikea is better, wayfair is low quality and expensive
I find it wild IKEA is consider low quality in the US. We can things that literally have been around also long as I can remember (from Germany) and are still in wonderful condition.
It's literally all the same particle board. At least Ikea is one vertically integrated company with some morals. Wayfair is just a dropshipping marketplace with a million brands.
Generally yes
Check the ratings and reviews. You can find solid stuff on there
Wayfair is a marketplace ar best so underlying brand's quality will be determinant here and that can obviously vary widely. Ikea can have good stuff that can last years too if you avoid the lowest priced options there.
Also their self-serve model of furniture assembly lends itself well to one time assembly but not to repeated cycles of the same across multiple apartment moves. You can technically do this but the structural integrity and joint rigidity starts to suffer each time you do this.

They’re different things that accomplish different things

Maybe for “wood” stuff. DEFINTELY not for anything upholstered.

Eh but at least IKEA you can go in to one of the physical stores, and they sometimes have some floor items you can get on a discount.
Ikea is more, disposable? Not sure thats the right way to describe it but it's furniture that lasts enough. Wayfair is more of longer lasting that you could buy at a typical furniture store.
I only had one piece from ikea that lasted longer than three years.
Rising Star
I've helped my sister-in-law assemble Wayfair stuff. Over 20 purchases and over half had missing and / or broken pieces. It looks nice, but crap quality. I don't know why she keeps buying that junk.
Putting together ikea furniture is harder then any case interview
If you are building ikea furniture get a set of long Allen wrench fittings for your drill. It’s so much easier to tighten 96 Allen screws with a drill.
I furnished a rental property last summer and bought all the furniture on-line. I lived in the house for a week while prepping it. I bought 3 pieces from wayfair. I got a lift top coffee table which was awesome. Best thing ever. Can use coffee table to eat or as a desk and quality was good. I got a buffet table. Pretty good but the doors were really hard to adjust to fit properly and a night stand which arrived with a broken leg. I just glued it back together. From IKEA I bought a bed, desk, desk chair and rug. All of those were solid. I also used Amazon and Home Depot (Home Depot has a ton of furniture available in line).

I think ikea and wayfair are similar in quality (but wayfair quality can vary bc they sell a lot of different brands). I prefer wayfair just bc they have a variety of styles
