KPMG is famously not busy during tax season, especially if you’re in tax
If you are in tax, yes.
HAHAHA
This is a very broad question. However, it’s safe to assume you will be working a lot during busy season. Depending on what tax service line and office you work at any firm, busy season can be pretty much all year around if you’re on a bunch of 12/31 YE and FYE compliance and tax provision clients.
Honestly it’s mostly normal hours. I wake up around regular time and still can logout by 530 or so. I’m also in audit

Yes, you’re gonna work till 12-2AM, weekends/holidays. I’ve been through it. Its one of the toughest jobs I’ve ever had in my life. I would never want to go back to Tax ever again.
The work isn’t hard, it’s the grinding for 12-16 hours per day, endless amount of work, not interacting/talking with people, not being appreciated for your work at all, that’ll drive you crazy. At least in Audit you get to talk to your teammates and talk with clients. I literally had to work on Thanksgiving
