It really should not take 45 min to get to LGA from the east side.

It would have been great if NYC had bothered to build some kind of rail transit to LGA in the past 75 years or so. Most other Tier 1 cities made it a priority to have high speed transit from city center to airport(s).

Took me 25 minutes this morning, timing is key

It does but it shouldn't. Used to be 15 min when I started this gig.

Unless you are leaving at about 4:30 am, you bet it does. From Park Slope, I can make it there in like 20 min, with the biggest time sink occurring while going west to east. Once that rush hr traffic hits, fuggetaboutit.

At least it's possible to get to JFK by rail, even if it is a two-seat ride through Jamaica station. Still not a remotely efficient way of doing it.

like

Yes it does

Earlier flight next time?

@a1 gee thanks for insight.

JFK is the city's airport. LGA is the fucked up brother

Yeah, and it takes even longer to get to JFK with the inevitable traffic snarls. Bottlenecks all over the place.

There's always blade...

Pros:

- fairly decent place to work (from someone who worked with the Vancouver and San Jose offices). never met a blue badger (permanent employee) who had awful things to say.

- Ashley Goodall (their SVP, Methods & Intelligence) co-authored a brilliant book on leadership and people management called “Nine Lies About Work” that makes me believe they can be an awesome place to work

Cons:

- red badgers had low morale since they’re contract workers and can be terminated at any time

Can provide more details if needed, but if an employee is constantly coughing at work (small retail establishment), is it okay to ask them for a doctor's note stating they aren't contagious? They're claiming it's due to allergies, but I've gotten several confidential concerns from employees and customers alike due to the current enviornment.

1. Can anyone tell me if they’ve been through the whole process without speaking to PMD? (First round Sr Manager, second Case Interview by a manager and third again by a manager) 2.
