Hi Londoners ,
Moving in from outside UK.
Looking out for some areas in west / NW London where one can live with an infant on max 1400£ rental while requiring one partner to travel to Central occasionally for work and the other person 3 days a week to LHR.
Some Qns:
1) Will 1 Bedroom be too cramped for the infant to grow up? Should I raise budget?
2) I prefer being in family /childcare friendly areas. Had Harrow, Acton in mind . Are they good for my budget or any other suggestions?

How do y'all u get approval to stay at the Ritz?! 🤔
And I'm the one that approves the expenses. You know who I am too @op

D1 good for you. Some decided to take today off using the floating holiday, others as myself will choose to use it at a later time. I prefer the flexibility. PwC1 project is in Boston. Decent Ritz there. More fun seeing all of the NBA and NFL teams that also check in there.
We all are.... you're not? Oh dear.
@A1 this particular property has a low occupancy rate during this time of year. We negotiated a rate that still falls within the project budget.
Real question is...what city?
@OP nice! I'm actually based out of Boston
How did you get the Ritz? ALWAYS out of policy for me so extremely jealous!
Just read above at how you got it - lucky you!
Hoping for the best when I arrive at the Hampton Inn after midnight (the Fairfield Inn was sold out).
The ritz occasionally has pretty cheap rates. I always check it when I'm booking a hotel because a couple times it's been low enough to be within the project's budget
