Hi everyone. A PDM specialist here. Joined Deloitte 5+ years back as ‘Senior Solution Engineer -On-site’.Later in June 2017 all these ‘on-site’ folks got rebranded as PDM. Slowly started to realize how PDM is getting sidelined as a ‘discountable’ group. Sometimes I feel contract jobs are better than being at PDM , but obviously tied up with D for visa related issues.No career progression so far and don’t see any positive changes in the near future as well.I think it’s high time to call it a day.

After 2 rounds of interview (1 hour each) , Deloitte usi hr is telling me that due to organisational restructuring the offers are on hold. My experience only…Being a successful “copywriter” in an era of visual dominance/production means you need to be very strong conceptually. And, have enough breadth of exposure to cook up some alternative ideas pretty quickly. If you can do this, AD’s & Designers will be asking to work with you. Hope this is helpful.

It’s easier to write a long piece of body copy than ten variations of a headline to fit in the top of a mobile email but say three things.
Damn at my agency there are tons of writer and few art directors and designers. Feel like they are being overworked tbh.
It’s the opposite from what I’ve seen at CM. 😞
Art directors simply have more work than copywriters. The same project requires way more hours. I never understood why I was resourced for the same time as a writer when there was way more time demanded of me.
